Students put landscaping theory in practice at Zealong Tea Estate

We believe in supporting innovation and Kiwi ingenuity, which is why we have brought the classroom to our tea plantation through a partnership with the Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec).

This move has seen a group of the best and brightest young minds the region has to offer given the opportunity to put theory into practice and design the landscape around our new venue, The Vista.

Set at the entrance to Zealong Tea Estate, the recently completed $6 million Visitor Centre and functions facility (The Vista) will boost our commitment to the development of New Zealand as a country that exports unique, sustainable products to the world.

In the meantime, why not visit us and see the Wintec students’ progress?

In response to the latest alert levels for Covid-19 announced by the New Zealand Government, our tea estate is closed to the public. Zealong has been deemed an essential business and we are grateful that we can continue producing and supplying our New-Zealand grown certified organic teas.

Free contactless delivery is provided at this time through our couriers, who are also an essential service. We sincerely hope that enjoying our teas will help alleviate feelings of anxiety in these uncertain times.
