Gordonton Art & Design Trail 2026

Start your journey at Zealong, the first stop on the trail, where we’re proudly hosting four talented local artists.

Running from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th April, the trail invites visitors to explore a wide range of artworks — from painting and sculpture to mixed media and pottery — while meeting the artists behind the creations.

The event offers not only the chance to view and purchase unique pieces, but also to enjoy a rich cultural experience that celebrates local creativity and the charm of rural New Zealand — all just a short drive from Hamilton.
