Consul General Xu Erwen of the Chinese New Zealand Consulate in Auckland visits Zealong Estate

We were delighted to host Consul General Xu Erwen of the Chinese New Zealand Consulate at our tea estate recently. This was an opportunity for the Consul General to learn all about Zealong Tea and discuss the cultural and business connections between New Zealand and China.

Our 100% certified organic tea is a unique Kiwi brand that has the potential to extend the China and New Zealand relationship through new trade exchanges.

Here is their report following the visit:

Consul General Xu Erwen of the Chinese New Zealand Consulate in Auckland visited the well known Zealong Tea Estate in the Waikato.

The Consul General observed Zealong’s operations, tea picking, processing, and packaging through video presentations.

The Consul General Xu discussed the cultural connection between New Zealand and China and a business philosophy focussed on quality.

The boutique New Zealand certified organic tea provides a unique brand that has the potential to contribute growth to the China and New Zealand relationship. The Consul General hopes that the tea estates combination of Chinese traditional tea cultivation and modern New Zealand horticultural management systems can promote new economic and trade exchanges and bring a new meaning to China and New Zealand relationship.
